    NRYTL Sends Condolences to the Rayner family

    Eddie Raynor, long-time Equipment Manager in Youth Tackle League for many

    years has passed away after a brief illness. A Vietnam Veteran in the United States Marines, Eddie was dedicated to our Youth Tackle League, organizing, distributing and collecting equipment and never missing from August 1st, to November 30th. Semper Fi.

    2013 Ray Rice Day
    On June 15th SuperBowl Champion Ray Rice returned once again to Fosina Field and put on his annual Ray Rice Day Free Football Clinic for kids. The clinic was coached Coach DiRienzo and included many NRHS state championship players, NFL players, NRYTL staff and former YTLers Courtney Greene, Geoffrey McDermott, Glen Lee and Samad Wagstaff.     With all of the exposure following 'The shot' and NRHS Basketballs march to the State finals, it's easy to forget that football will be their collegiate sport of choice. It's been reported that both have committed to Deane College (Mass.) for the 2013 season. read more

    Former YTLer Wjhante Holden has committed to AICFormer YTL Trio Commit to Colleges
    Congratulations to former YTLers Wjhante Holden (American International College), Gavin Harley (Southern Connecticut State University) and Ray 'Macho' Ganley (Cortland State) on committing to continuing their education and athletic careers. Over twenty five former YTLers will be participating in NCAA football in 2013!

    EDNEY, First Team All-State QB
    Accolades continue for our state champs as as Khalil Edney was named 2012 1st team All-State at quarterback and msgvarsity player of the year in Section 1. Joe Clarke was also voted first team all-state on defense. Jason Ceneus and Ray Ganley both earned second team All State honors.

    RICE Rated as A top safety for 2013 NFL Draft
    After impressing in college all-star games, Markell Rice has moved into the top twenty in the country for his position player profile
    Former YTLer Markell Rice was named to NE-10 first team defense for American International College. Rice won defensive player of the week honors three times in 2012 and finished tied for second in the nation (all divisions) with 8 interceptions. read
